Carnival gift cards can be used online to make payment for or towards a cruise. Additionally, I believe that these electronic cards can be added to your sign & sail account onboard. You can apparently also buy “cruise cash” that you can use on your cruise to pay for stuff like drinks, restaurant upgrades, and excursions — however, I’ve read that any unused cruise cash is forfeited, so I wouldn’t recommend buying cruise cash but rather using these to pay for a cruise or to load to your sign & sail account once onboard.
You may be able to do even better than this with the right grocery store / fuel point promotion, but this is pretty good for those who don’t have easy access to a better option. I was happy to see this deal since I have a cruise scheduled this fall thanks to the “free cruise” deal we wrote about last year.
