Our Take

The Instacart+ membership is normally $99 per year, or $9.99 a month. You don’t need an Instacart+ membership to use Instacart. But, if you make more than 2 orders a month, you’ll probably save money. Between free delivery fees on orders over $35 and reduced service fees, Instacart+ members save an average of $7 per order.

Not everyone is a fan of Instacart, but if you are and haven’t upgraded to Instacart+ or the old Instacart Express membership, perhaps now’s a good time to give it a try if you’re a Chase cardholder.

Unlike previous promotions, you’re not getting bonus Hilton Honors points or Delta SkyMiles. Instead, you’re getting between 3-12 months of free Instacart+ membership depending on which Chase card you have.
